The Industrial Relations Section is pleased to announce that Claudia Goldin has been awarded the 2021 Richard A. Lester Book Award for Career & Family: Women's Century-Long Journey Toward Equity, and Jan Eeckhout has been awarded the 2021 William G. Bowen Book Award for The Profit Paradox: How Thriving Firms Threaten the Future of Work.
Each year, members of the Industrial Relations Section meet to select the most noteworthy books in labor economics published in the previous year. Out of these, two are selected for the awards.
