Alexandre Mas, the William S. Tod Professor of Economics and Public Affairs, has been elected as a 2021 Fellow of The Econometric Society.
The Society membership consists of general members and Fellows. Fellows represent the highest authority of the Society.
"Candidates to become Fellows shall be nominated each year by general members, existing Fellows or by the Fellows Nominating Committee. To be eligible for such nomination, a person must have published original contributions to economic theory or to such statistical, mathematical, or accounting analyses as have a definite bearing on problems in economics."
