Terms, conditions, limitations of use of Section-provided equipment

- Your laptop is assigned to you for your remaining time at Princeton.
- When you leave, laptop will be reassigned.
- Laptops are not available for purchase.

- REMINDER: Equipment is lent to you as a privilege in support of the University’s research mission.
- Protect equipment from theft/loss following common-sense standard security practices.
- University-owned equipment for University business only.
- In cases of abuse, the privilege of using Section equipment may be reevaluated by the Director.

- You must be able to fully support any and all operating system and software issues encountered.

- Productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Creative Cloud/Adobe Acrobat Pro).
- Browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge).
- Backup software (Crashplan).
- File sharing apps (Dropbox, Google Drive, Onedrive).
- Common, useful utilities (Putty, WinSCP, Notepad++, WinRAR, MS Remote Desktop).
- Communication tools (Slack, Zoom).
- Programming/Development/Analysis tools and utilities (Stata 18 MP 20-core, Python3 x64 w/Spyder, R w/ RStudio, GitHub Desktop).
